Sample company

This section is an open case study. It follows a composite demo company through the eight GAAPx areas, so you can see what the method produces before you try it on your own work.

Illustrative

The company is made up. It is a composite, not a real firm, and no real people appear. Counts come from the process maps. Any other figure is marked illustrative.

How to read an area page

  1. Status. Each page says whether the area is built or in progress. In progress pages list what they will cover and show no numbers.
  2. Headline numbers. Steps, loops, agents and human decisions, counted from the map.
  3. Before and after. A short plain description, then the process map.
  4. What changed. Every box on the before map lands in one of four buckets: Delete, Automation, Agents, or Human decisions.
  5. See how we did it. The step-by-step detail sits in the platform.

Companies

  • PulseIQ: a technology company that sells software on subscription. Spend is built. The other seven areas are in progress.
